The Programme Agreement between the Ministry of Economic Development and the Regions provides a framework within which the internationalisation guidelines of the national production system established by the Ministry of Economic Development and the specific requirements of local production systems, expressed in the action programmes drawn up by the Regions, can cohabit.
Within this framework – by means of specific Agreements – activities supporting enterprises operating on foreign markets, to implement with the collaboration of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade and the competent regional structures, are agreed on an annual basis. This allows consistent and effective action to be taken, avoiding overlapping and waste caused by lack of co-ordination.
Through a special agreement, Regione Liguria uses Liguria International as an agency for implementing of a series of promotional initiatives aiming to support the economic development of its territory as regards the promotion of internationalisation and exports for regional enterprises, according to the objectives and priorities established by the Region, in accordance with the guidelines of the Minister for Economic Development/International Trade.
