Funding for production and services companies in Liguria

Law n° 28, 13 August 2007 “Interventi regionali in materia di internazionalizzazione delle produzioni liguri”
Article 9 of regional Law n° 28, 13 August 2007 “Interventi regionali in materia di internazionalizzazione delle produzioni liguri” (regional operations for internationalising Ligurian production) establishes that every year the Liguria Region government provides funding for certain subjects named in that article to support the internationalisation processes of small and medium enterprises in Liguria through promotional activities. For 2010, the Regional government established the notification method to award the funding and Liguria International has been appointed to manage it.
The funding aims to encourage the internationalisation process of associated, aggregate and networked SMEs and can be applied only for promotional actions in the countries indicated in the geographic bearings provided for in the 2008-2010 Three-year Regional Programme.
Economically, the notice supports consortia or partnerships (70% of the investment cost allowable for up to no more than 50,000 euro) and the trade associations of production companies in
Applications must be presented between 15 January and 15 March 2010, complete with the required documents.
Initiatives awarded funding shall be executed by 31 December 2010.

To decide on the priority chronological order of applications relating to the Notice implementing article 9 of Regional Law n° 28/2007 entitled "Funding for promotions initiatives", on the basis of the provisions set forth in point 10 of the Notice, on 23 March 2010, the applications sent on 15 January 2010, 26 February 2010 and 15 March 2010 were drawn on 23 March 2010 at Liguria International, before the Notary, Piero Biglia di Saronno
